Scott A. Leonard, CFP™ is Senior Economist, Chief Investment Officer (CIO) and a Founding Partner of Trovena, LLC and OnCubic, LLC. His credentials include Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP), and Certified Estate Adviser (CEA™).
In addition to running Trovena and OnCubic, Mr. Leonard is an instructor at UCLA Extension, teaching courses in the financial planning certificate program. He is also an instructor and Dean of the School of Investments for NAPFA University. He is a national speaker on investment and wealth management issues.
Mr. Leonard is a frequently published author, specializing in advanced investment theory, and has been the featured financial planner for the Los Angeles Times weekly "Money Make-Over" column.

Scott assumes a leadership role within the financial planning and wealth management profession, holding numerous board positions with esteemed associations, including: Current President of NAPFA, West Region, Past president and chair of the Financial Planning Association, Los Angeles Chapter and multiple positions on national committees dealing with ethics and professionalism in the financial services industry.
Mr. Leonard graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) in 1990 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics. His CFP™ credential was earned in 1994 and his CEA™ certificate in 2002.
Mr. Leonard spends his personal time with his wife, Mandi, and sons, Griffin, Jake and Luke, enjoying the many benefits of life on the Pacific Coast: sailing, surfing and bike rides on "the Strand".
Being located in the South Bay, Mr. Leonard works a great deal with executives in the aerospace community, and specialized is working with current and former employees of Northrop Grumman and the former companies now owned by Northrop Grumman.

Christopher has been active in the financial community of Southern California since 1992 when he began his career in financial services at Trust Company of the West (TCW) in Los Angeles. Since 1996, Mr. Van Slyke has been an independent wealth manager and entrepreneur. Mr. Van Slyke is a past member of the Board of Directors of The Financial Planning Association of San Diego and Los Angeles as well as the Western Region Board of Directors for NAPFA.

His career in financial services began more than fifteen years ago, with experience at banking, insurance and investment management firms. Mr. Toya accompanies his diversified financial background with an expertise in portfolio management, estate planning, tax strategies, and charitable gift planning.

Anthony G. Ferreira is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ practitioner with Trovena, LLC. He launched his career after graduating from San Diego State University with a BS in Financial Services. His expertise covers the areas of estate planning, tax efficient investment strategies, retirement planning, portfolio management, risk management, and benefits planning. In addition to his planning portfolio design and trading responsibilities at the firm, Anthony is also the Chief Compliance Officer and is responsible for office management and technology development and deployment.

Responsible for client relationships, Debra brings 30 years experience in the personal financial and investment planning profession. She is a frequent speaker at industry association meetings and public seminars on topics including retirement planning, investments and Women’s Investing—How to Avoid Becoming a Bag Lady.
Debra is a member of the prestigious Executive Women of New Jersey, the Financial Planning Association, the National Association of Female Executives, and the National Association of Women Business Owners. She is listed in Marquis’ Who’s Who in Finance and Industry & Who’s Who of American Women, as well as Nationwide Register’s Who’s Who in Executives and Business.

Charles Stanley is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ professional, a Chartered Financial Consultant and holds the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® designation. For more than twenty years Mr. Stanley has served retired physicians, business owners, corporate executives, retirees and many widows helping them with their estate planning, tax strategies, risk management, investment selection, business succession, and retirement planning. After twenty years in Christian ministry, Mr. Stanley spent four years as a corporate executive before entering the personal financial planning field.
Mr. Stanley has been involved in the local financial community having served multiple years on the Board of the San Diego Chapter of the Financial Planning Association and is a member of the National Association of Personal Financial Advisors (NAPFA). He is also an active member of the Escondido Rotary Club.

A native of Coronado, California, Morgan brings 20+ years of experience in leadership positions in finance, business development, and education. He has lived and travelled abroad extensively, cultivating a unique perspective and insight into the interrelationship between investments and successful investors.
Morgan specializes in wealth management for high net worth private clients, charitable organizations, and investment plans requiring a disciplined fiduciary process. Typical clients are not looking for get rich quick schemes but are more concerned about intelligent planning and smart growth with lower risk.
Morgan graduated from the University of San Diego cum laude with a B.A. in Computer Science and was commissioned as an officer in the United States Navy. After receiving his Naval Flight Officer wings, he was based out of NAS Miramar and made numerous deployments with Fighter Squadron Fifty One in the F-14A Tomcat, including combat operations in the Persian Gulf.
As an Assistant Professor of Naval Science at the University of San Diego, he taught engineering and leadership and management to university students and received an International MBA. Morgan also holds the CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ credential.
