Regulatory Disclosures
Trovena, LLC. is comprised of independent, qualified professionals who provide full disclosure, “big picture”, comprehensive, objective advice at a price that is well below the norm.
One of the most important things we can share with you is how to conduct your own due diligence on your potential new advisor. Don’t just read an advisor’s website, watch an ad, listen to a self-proclaimed guru on the radio, or rely on your friend’s recommendation. Look into your advisor’s background yourself. We have provided several resources.
The first is a link to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC)’s official disclosure documents. (Called ADV I and II) This is a good place to start when doing your homework. We’ve also provided a link to the CFP Board of Standards to check on your advisor’s status as a CFP® practitioner.

(For competitive reasons, we do not make our ADV II available on our website. However, prospective clients may request one by contacting our office.)

If you are comparison shopping between advisors, it is very important to ask the right questions. We find the following interview questionnaire to be the best available. It was produced by NAPFA, a trade organization for financial advisors.
“How To Choose A Financial Planner” interview questionnaire.
